I really thought I'd be able to conserve usage of my USB-C ports with this thing. Instead, both monitors show the same thing and only one of them shows up as a Display in my computer's settings - so I can't even select the second one and manually set it from Mirror to Extend. I did a lot of research before buying this dongle, and the one thing I took for granted was that it would allow me to connect both displays (an HDMI and a VGA) as Extensions.

All in all its made of nice metallic or what feels like high grade aluminum with a nice matter gray finish and gold accents and have a very tight sturdy connection with each input. The only that would have made this perfect is if it could extend to 2 separate screens like the dual HDMI adapters can. My laptop only has USB C outputs, this connected without issues it was plug and play, no drivers to upload. This does not have audio, so you will have to attach speakers to your laptop. The max resolution for these projectors is 1080, so this worked great. These are business projectors with VGA video connections, which at the time of purchase were thousands of dollars.
